Troodles!

This blog is Dedicated to my Twin Bridesmaid, Trudy! First of all, CONGRATS!!! Trudy got engaged on Friday--she is planning an August wedding for this summer...YaY--She has asked me to be her bridesmaid--sooo---It looks like I'm going to be hopping off the plan from our honeymoon--going to Katy and Justin's wedding...and then IN Trudy's wedding the next weekend. I think already mentioned this--but I am getting married on the same day as a friend of mine from Tampa--Kara. HOLY COW--all the weddings this summer.

I met Trudy Freshman year of college and we've remained friends. She now lives and teaches at Hilliard Elementary! I think we get mistaken for sisters/twins more than anybody..... I love you Troodles!!

And More!

More Pics of me and Sarah!

Sarah :)

Sarah and I became friends when I moved to Athens. We cheered on the competition team together at UGA and instantly became close! We're many times mistaken for sisters (another one of my look alikes!) We have fun no matter what we are doing--whether its dressing up in ridiculous hats and boas and going to the grocery store--or dancing at "Club Ramsey" (the gym at UGA!) w/ our ipods--haha---I love Sarah for her optimistic, sweet spirit--and her Christian accountability!

Honeymoon

Justin and I are going to St. Lucia for our Honeymoon. I never would have dreamed to have had the opportunity to take a honeymoon so nice--but the Lord is so Good. I am so blessed. I really don't deserve anything I get! Anyways-- I couldn't be more excited. Wow in just over 5 months, I'll finally know what its like to be married--something I've waited for my whole life--It seems surreal :) ....

Justin and I have been studying "The Five Languages" book together. My step mom bought us the book for Christmas! According to the book--the five main love languages are 1. Words of Affirmation 2. Acts of Service 3. Physical Touch 4. Gifts 5. Quality time----According to the survey in the book--my love language seems to be quality time (which he scored the least on)--his is receiving gifts and physical touch. Anyways--the book is a really great tool for learning how to love your spouse better. I've also really enjoyed Bro Lynn's series on the Home and Marriage :)..I feel as if he did that series just for us~We go tomorrow for our 4th counseling session!

Mandy Man!

As promised---this Blog is dedicated to my Bridesmaid, Mandy! Mandy and I had great times in High School! My sophmore year in high school--we were inseperable! We always knew how to have fun.. I will never forget the wild and crazy times we had together. I know I can always count on her for a good laugh--we seem to be two peas in a pod-- Just some memories between me and her..."Gawwd, a man and twenty grand, don't do dat, yic, Freaky Fruits, Huddle House, the Escort, cheering at football games together, Mandy Man and Shelly Shell, Normandy, dressing up like a cow and a Chicken...". I love you Moo!!!!

I heard back from the doc--I found that the lump is an uncomplicated, simple cyst!! I am praising the Lord... :) .....You can have all the faith in the world--but when faced with that sort of uncertainty--Not being anxious is hard!! I guess my faith still isn't complete. I only hope one day that I will possess the same amount of faith that my grandparents possess! Anyways--no matter what you go through--God is right beside you all the way, and you will never walk alone! I have to remind myself that worrying is pointless--and NOT of the Lord.

Yesterday, I subbed 5th grade in Yulee again. The teacher left very detailed lesson plans to go by, so my job was easy. I felt like such a teacher standing in front of the class and giving LESSONS---I felt something else too. A passion for teaching and loving those children. One little boy wore a UGA shirt and jacket because I had told him the day before that I loved the Dawgs... His name was Logan Tate. THE CUTEST little boy in the world!! He was so little compared to the rest of the children, but had a heart bigger than gold. He drew me a picture of house and used red and black to color parts of it. I really had the best time! One little girl--Jensen--was my helper for the day.....her little face lit up when I asked her to put some papers in order. Anyways--I think I may have a passion for teaching and kids?? Ironic since I've always said I didn't want to be a teacher. GOd works in myserious ways--just waiting for him to show me and doors to open!

Love you all and Thank you soo much for the Prayers!

Today

I subbed for the 4th/5th graders today. 1/2 the day in one class/ 1/2 in the other. There is so much to be learned from children sometimes. I really had a great time---After their work was completed, I even played "silent ball" and "miss wilkerson says" with them. Boy did that get wild--but still managed to keep them quiet. Tomorrow I sub for the 5th graders again. You can def. tell a difference between the 4th and 5th grade. Well I'll write more later--I need to get to the gym and run my 5 miles before I talk myself out of going. I haven't heard back about my Ct-Scan--please keep praying....

Mandy's Blog is coming!
